Solatron Metrology: Digital Readouts DR400, DR600 and DR700

The brief was to create the most advanced yet easy to use digital readouts in the industry. The elegant result is a breakthrough in ergonomic design. The conventional numeric display is supplemented by an alpha-numeric display. During the set up routine, this 24 character information digital display guides the user through a series of menus. In operating mode the four soft keys give direct access to relevant controls. The Solartron Metrology Digital Readouts have been designed to operate with both Linear Encoders and Solartron's range of Digital Probes.

DR700

Following the success of the DR600, Solartron has now introduced an even more sophisticated member of the Digital Readout family - the DR700. Whilst retaining all the features of the DR600 -Preset, alarms, RS232 output, Max, Min, Difference, etc - it boasts a number of new functions.

For example, the new "Scaling Factor" function can be used to compensate for angled or lever operated probes, or diameter when measured in a V block. It also enables measurement of angles or squares.

Other new functions include the "Gauging Mode" - allowing global pass/fail evaluation of up to 30 scan channels -and "Max A +Max B".

Ergonomically designed for the operator, the DR700 can be used with multiple probe fixtures using either Linear Encoders, Digital Probes or a combination of both - making it a truly versatile addition to the Solartron "Orbit" range.
